After you select the
Ash Scattering Package & Options you
desire you will need to follow the steps below to complete the ash dispersal arrangements.
- Contact us with your plans, schedule &
options you would like. Complete the
Tradewind Charters Worksheet
and submit back to us by email or you can print it and mail or fax it back
to us.
- You can place your $200 reservation deposit:
online with PayPal;
with a personal check, money order or cashiers check made out to Tradewind
Charters, Inc. through the mail; or
with VISA, MC, AMEX or DISC on the Tradewind Charters Worksheet or over the phone/fax
directly with us.
- The "Authorization for the Burial at Sea of
Cremated Remains" form will need to be completed
and returned.
- Take the above completed "Authorization for the Burial at Sea of
Cremated Remains" form along with the cremated remains to your Post Office. The United
States Postal Service will ship cremated remains which are packaged
properly. The cremated remains must remain in the plastic urn or
cardboard box in which you received them. Place this original
container inside a USPS box along with the completed form, label the outside
of the box as cremated remains and
mail to us. If you are uncomfortable handling the shipping or ashes,
your funeral service provider can also assist you. Ashes or cremated
remains can also be shipped directly from your funeral home or crematory
service provider. We are not responsible for packages lost in transit,
so it's important that you send them registered/certified mail so they can
be tracked.
