Agnes M. Fort Johnson was born December 21, 1947 to Mr. Leon Fort and Mrs. Alice Beverly Fort in New Orleans, La. She passed August 18, 2016 surrounded by her beloved family. Agnes was the second oldest of five siblings. She was a very loveable, caring and friendly person, who loved her family and friends. Agnes was baptized at a young age.
She leaves to cherish her legacy and fond memories, her devoted husband, Ronald Johnson Sr.; loving mother, Alice B. Fort; three daughters, Vonja Sartin, Tawanda Roach of Baton Rouge, La. and Wakenda Johnson of Burleson, TX; two sons, Duan Fort and Ronald Johnson Jr.; three sisters, Earnestine Williams, Carolyn (Olander) Stewart all of Baton Rouge, La. and Mary Bridges of Springfield, La.; devoted cousin Gloria Gaston; God-parents, Paul & Rosalie Watkins all of Baton Rouge. 16 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her father Leon Fort; brother Michael Fort; sister Sandra Fort; grandparents Mary & Dave Beverly and Richard Fort & Henrietta Germany; grandson Duan Gayton; four uncles and three aunts.
