Anita passed peacefully at home. She was the beloved wife of Howard and loving mother to her daughters, Catherine and Carolyn, and son-in-laws, Juergen and Matthew, and grandmother to Luke and Jenna. She was a medical technologist who worked with cancer patients. An avid sportswoman, she also loved being a homemaker and was an excellent cook, gardener, knitter and seamstress. She loved Stanford Sports and was a docent at the Stanford Sports Hall of Fame. At the Sunnyvale Presbyterian Church, she was a deacon, knit baby blankets, bagged food, and sang in the choir.
