BETTY JEAN MAILHES ... born on June 7, 1925 to George and Claudia Sheesley in the town of Alvo, Nebraska ... and preferred to be called Jean throughout her adult life.

JEAN passed from this life on March 14, 2015 in the town of Kingman, AZ, after struggling for a number of years with severe osteoporosis, Alzheimers, and Parkinsons.

Her husband, Richard Kenneth Mailhes passed away on July 1, 1993. They were married for over 43 years. Jean continued to live on another 22 years.

She is survived by her daughters Claudia J Cierzan and Paula J Peterson.

MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR THE CREAMAINS OF JEAN AND DICK MAILHES IS TAKING PLACE ON SUNDAY, MAY 1, 2016 DURING THE SUNSET HOUR AT SEA IN LAHAINA BAY, MAUI, HAWAII ... IN A PRIVATE SERVICE FOR IMMEDIATE FAMILY MEMBERS ... PLEASE JOIN US IN THOUGHT AN PRAYER AT THAT TIME.

This was my mother's request ... to have her ashes and the ashes of her husband scattered over Lahaina Bay, a favorite place that they stayed at many years ago.
