There's someone up in heaven
We cannot wait to see
You're up there smiling down on us
Just waiting patiently

And though you want to share the secrets
That you have come to know
You want us to be happy
As we live our lives below

You know our time on earth is precious
Each day a special gift,
That we should use it wisely
To give other souls a lift

So until forever comes
When we get to see your smile
We will hold you in our hearts
And… we'll see you, in just a little while
