Carrie Coleman passed away at the age of 40. Carrie was diagnosed 09/07/13 with stage 4 cervical cancer and died from an untreatable complication of her condition on 10/06/13. Carrie was born as Carrie-Ann Buckheit in WAHIAWA Hawaii to Patricia Page and Robert Buckheit. Carrie was the youngest of 3 children and has two older brothers. She graduated class of 1991 from Leilehua High School. Carrie moved to Grand Prairie Texas in 1997 and married Michael Coleman in 2002. She had a stepson named Ben Coleman and 3 beautiful Pomeranians that she loved named Pookie, Hoku Lani and Sasha. Carrie was known among family and friends as being generous having a big heart and a hearty laugh. She touched so many lives by making presents for friends, children of friends and strangers. She was always making photo books, Christmas ornaments, creating cross stitch pictures and other crafts or anything that was needed for her family and friends as well as people she just met. Carrie was also well known for her cooking and her desserts. She would make her famous cookies, Oreo cream pie desserts, pumpkin gooey cake for parties, spreads at work or for anyone who she came in contact with that needed it. She also celebrated every season with vigor. Her house was always decorated with different plates and decorations for every season and holiday and would always cook and share foods to celebrate. She would donate regularly to the animal shelter toys and towels and would donate clothes and shoes to local charities. Carrie was a very special soul who's kindness and immeasurable generosity touched more lives than can be known. She was an angel on earth and will be missed by all that knew her.
