Debra Ann
Lai Hipp
Mar 25, 1952 — Jan 26, 2021
Debra Ann Lai Hipp, the most loved and cherished daughter, mother and Tutu, gained her wings on January 26, 2021 in the comfort of her home in Honolulu, HI.
She was born on March 25, 1952 to Henry O. Lai Hipp and Maria J. Chan Nui. After her birth and childhood in Hilo, HI the Lai Hipp Ohana moved to Kahului, Maui where she was raised and later graduated from Baldwin High School in 1971. She then moved to Honolulu, HI to continue building her career which she later on retired in IT Management for Farmers Hawaii Inc.
She was the loving mother to Mahealani R. Pascua and Kainoa K. Garcia. Treasured Tutu to Harmony-Ann K. Pascua, Xaiver O. Pascua, Leia-Skye Watson-Pascua, Christopher-James Watson-Pascua, Tyler Means, Aaron Watson, Anthony Watson, and her Fur Babies Bella and Cooper.
She had a warm funny easy-going personality and hearty laugh. She enriched her life by being a beam of light in others lives, doing good deeds for others and always willing to lend a hand when someone was in need. She truly enjoyed traveling, spending time with family & friends, cooking, listening to music, collecting magnets from her travels and laughing. She had a fondness for red cardinals & squirrels and was an avid picture taker.
She will be missed by all, forgotten by none, and loved forever. Her passing has left empty spots in the hearts of many but will be filled with never ending love knowing she is our forever guardian angel.
