Following the war she moved to Washington State, where she worked and retired from Pacific Lutheran University, married and started her own family, raising 4 daughters, 2 sons and enjoyed the life of her 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Frances heritage was of Scottish descent. This shaped her personality to be strong willed at heart and smart. Some of her greatest talents were the craft of making clothing, costumes, embroidery, crochet, knitting and tasty meals. She always gave great care to family and community. Frances enjoyed the time in her garden which always looked beautiful. All of her accomplishments took hard workbut she made it look effortless. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
