May 5, 1936 – October 10, 2022

Kyong Sun Choi was born in Korea on May 5, 1936.  She passed away at the age of 86 on October 10, 2022.  Kyong Sun came to Hawaii in 1985 and worked in the travel industry as a housekeeper in Waikiki.  She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Makiki.  Prayer and worship was part of her daily life along with walking around Magic Island.  Her favorite scripture is 1Corinthians 13:4, Love is patient, love in kind.  It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.  Kyong Sun is survived by daughters, Soon Ja Chong, Naomi Saito, Diana Kamisugi, sons, Mike Chong, Jason Jeong, 9 grand-children and 7 great grand-children.
