Matt passed peacefully at home. He was the beloved husband of Carolyn and proud, loving father to his son and daughter, Luke and Jenna. He was also a caring, devoted son, brother, nephew, uncle, and cousin, as well as a hilarious friend, co-worker, and golf partner. Matt made the most of every day of his life, always finding a way to laugh and enjoy himself. You always knew when Matt was in the room; he loved sharing stories and jokes, sports, 80s music, golf, his dogs, and vintage Jeep Wranglers. Matt grew up in Massachusetts, where he became a diehard, super fan of the Patriots, Red Sox, and Celtics. When he met Carolyn, he left the freezing Massachusetts winters and moved to sunny, warm California, where he was married for 30 years, built a home he loved, raised his wonderful kids, and formed a new community of friends, never forgetting his family and friends back in Massachusetts. Matt left us all far too soon, and he will be dearly missed by everyone in his life.
