Mavis "The Queen" Daley was known by friends as "Queen Mavis". Mavis Daley was a quintessential Brit. Prim, proper and loved a properly made cup of tea. She was able to enjoy her 90th birthday celebrating with family and friends at a dinner hosted by her daughter, Sandi.
Mavis was charming and had a cutting sense of humor. One of her hospice caregivers commented just days before her passing, that Mavis was sharing the secrets of a properly brewed cup of tea. She was probably making sure her tea would be made correctly.
Mavis was under hospice care early Sunday, Easter morning at the time of her passing. She suffered from Congestive Heart Failure (CHF). She will be greatly missed by her children and their spouses: Sandi and Ken Plock, Lyn and Berand Ages and grandson Ian, Brian and Kim Daley and grandchildren Zachary and Brittany Daley.
