Obituary

Ron Eldred was born in Glendale, California, and was one of six children. He was lucky to be Married to Shelly Eldred for over twenty five years. Ron Eldred is also loving father of three children Jeanette, William, and Ronnie whom he loves dearly. Ron also is a stepfather to Shellys child Michael. What I know about my father is that he wasn't a very outspoken person outside of work, but once he started getting into his BBQ mode he would become the life of the party. Dads great sense of humor would always come alive and if you were lucky enough to listen to him Karokee, then you know from exprience that Dad or Ron knew how to enjoy life. Ron's pride and joy is his wife Shelly and I would say what he loved most about her had to be her beautiful personality, smile, and great home cooking. Dad Ron served this country as a Master Cheif for 25 yrs and then continued to do civil work for the government through Northrup Grumman. We repect and honor our father for his dedication and the compassion he had for his work and family. Dad or Ron was and will continue to be a role model for many of us. He was very blessed to have had so many memorable memmories, and incredible life experiences, 25 of those yrs were with Shelly Eldred. Dad being the oldest of six goes with out saying how important he is to all of his siblings. I know he would want you all to know how equally important you all are to him. I know Dad is proud of all of us for coming together as family to be there for one another. Dad might have not have been the best person at expressing his emotions which I believe is part of the Navy life style, but towards the end, he did express more emotians then one person should endur as Shelly battled cancer. His pain was unbearable to watch and as we all watched him cry out, we tried our best to be there when he need someone, but what he really needed was to be with his wife again. I believe the Lord heard his crys, felt his pain, and as Shelly called for him so did the Lord. Even though every part of us wish that we could have more time with you and Shelly. We love you, miss you, and will always be thinking of you!
