Stuart A. Stanley, 48, passed away March 26, 2008, in his residence. He was born in Hampton the son of the late James F. and Elma Stanley. He was predeceased by his sister, Susan Stanley. Stuart worked for Sentara Healthcare and was the director of Behavioral Health Services and EAP. He was the founder and artistic director of the Hampton Roads Men's Chorus. He volunteered for various charities including the Children's AIDS Network. He is survived by a nephew, John Snyder of Portsmouth as well as his close network of friends who were considered his other family. His ashes will be taken to Hawaii to be released into the sea on Tuesday, February 21, 2012
