Todd Lowell Inskeep was the first born of Wayne Earl Inskeep and Elvira Vera. He was born on February 18th, 1968 in Anaheim, California. He was baptized at St. John of God Catholic church in Norwalk, California by his Godparents, Lynn Inskeep and Margie Lopez.
As a young boy his love of sports began when he played little league baseball and football, often coached by his Dad. Todd's talent in sports only increased at Richard Gahr high school, where he played football, baseball, and water polo. It was during the summer of 1983 that Todd met the love of his life, Wendy Matuz. They were the "it" couple on Ben Nevis Avenue, where they began to create lifelong friendships with their childhood buddies. Over the years Todd and Wendy were blessed with four children; Christopher, Rickie, Kayla, and Alyssa.
Todd was a hard worker and loved to build things around his home and others. His love of building found him at his last job at Home Depot where he made more lifelong friends. Todd was a fiercely loyal friend who loved to serve others. Those who had the pleasure of calling him friend know how much he loved to help people and to cook for them. He was a man of few words, but he spoke volumes when he cooked for those he loved.
During his illness, Todd's faith deepened and it gave him and Wendy peace and courage to face his battle with cancer. Todd loved to watch sports and cheer for his favorite sports team; Dodgers, Steelers, UCLA, and Notre Dame. Todd loved to be in the water whenever and whenever he could. He was able to travel to his favorite destination, Hawaii in 2012 and 2015 and made more beautiful memories with family.
Todd's faith was steadfast until the end. He departed this life and entered into eternity on his own terms; feet on the ground, in the arms of his beloved wife and surrounded by his son Chris, his daughter Alyssa, his mother and sister, his compadre John Garcia and family and friends who all encircled him with love and prayers.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Uncles Lonnie and Chico; Aunt Joyce; Cousin Traci and his nephews, Caleb and Raphael.
