Obituary

Wonderful daughter, delightful sister, and purest aunt, she had been the kindest soul to ever have lived. As her nephew, my aunt had always been supportive of my actions whether she agreed with me or not. She was always unconditional and loving no matter the distance of our family bond and relationship. She would always call to check up on our side of the family when she had free time, or whenever she hears anything unusual on the news regarding our state. She would come visit our side of the family without planning or hesitation, and I'd be very humble to cater to her whenever possible. I was always out and about despite her visitation. Her presence alone would make anybody want to keep themselves pure of light. Always smiling, she had a laugh that I will truly miss yet never forget. With her soft spoken nature, I don't think I had ever seen her angry. Even when the news was upsetting, she would always stay strong. What I learned from when my aunt would be with me when I was growing up, is to be grateful and cheerful no matter the circumstances. Travel lots and make the most of the life we have been gifted. She never talked negative of anyone or held any grudges, at least not around me. I remember when my aunt and my grandma would visit us in Seattle when I was younger, the first thing I'd see when looking for them was my aunt's bright face and huge lovely smile. It's her smile that symbolizes freedom within my family for all of the stuff they had gone through just to make it into this country. Our family support wouldn't be the same without her. She never had a chance to become a mother, but for what she is, she was more than that sort of figure with the amount of trust I've seen she has for our family. The love for her nieces and nephews was infinite in a way she doesn't have to be around us to feel. The thought of her alone makes me want to take back everything I had ever done to miss her call and to call her back just so we could briefly talk about life even when it wasn't too important of a call. I now understand the importance of communication and the "little things" despite the urgency or eagerness of the call. I miss her so much and I believe everyone she had shown purity to misses her just as much. This cruel world isn't fair to take her away, but when it comes time, the most we can do is cherish the last minutes of life with each other and just pray to continue forward together. May you rest in paradise aunty, sister, and gracious human being. We all love you and miss you more than ever.
