Vivian G. Rodriguez, a resident of Hayward, CA, passed away quietly on June 10, 2010, at Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley at the age of 80. She was born on March 24, 1930, in San Jose, Ca, to Ramona and Cecilion Figueroa. She is the proud mother of Laura A. (Geer) Valdiva and Paul R. Geer; Grandmother of Missy Escoto, Tammy R. Geer and Paul A. Geer; Great grandmother of Paul A. Geer, Jr., Brianna Batchelder, Tammy L. Geer, Marissa Batchelder, Angelina Batchelder, Alyssa Escoto, Carl Geer, and Andrew Escoto; Great-great grandmother of oseph Daniel Aleman. Beloved sister of Lino Figueroa, Catherine Miller, Rina Figueroa, Ramona Brain, Gladys Martinez, and Thelma Calvillo, as well as many, many, loving nieces, nephews, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Carl A. Rodriguez, in 2004, her parents, her sisters: Julia Johnson, Louise Gonzalez, Carnation Marez, and Margaret Figueroa; and brothers: Chito Figueroa and Tony Figueroa. A memorial service will be held on October 23, 2010, at Pueblo Springs Mobile Park, 27930 Pueblo Springs, Hayward, CA, 94545, at 2:00 pm. She will be greatly missed.
