Reserve your location and preferred date and time by placing a $200 non-refundable deposit with us. Payment options include:


  • VISA, MC, AMEX & Discover credit cards online at our secure site or over the phone at 1-808-227-4956 during business hours.
  • Personal or Trust check, money order, or cashier's check made out to Hawaii Ash Scatterings can be mailed to 796 Kalanipuu Street, Honolulu, HI 96825 a minimum of 2 weeks before the cruise date.


We highly encourage you to mail your loved ones’ ashes to us in advance and will definitely want to do so in the situations listed below:

  • Families & estate executors choosing an unattended ash scattering;
  • Families ordering a pu'olu from us which requires handing off to our florist in advance;
  • Families flying in and choosing to avoid delays with airport security over traveling with your loved one's ashes;
  • Families that are flying in less than a few days prior to their cruise date;
  • Families that have their hands full with luggage and kids, and the extra 10 lbs of carry-on weight is not very convenient.


Please be sure to enclose your contact information and end destination address within your shipment to us. Upon reserving, we will send you a PDF file that you will print out with the proper address to mail your loved one’s ashes to us.


We have found over the years that the United States Postal Service (USPS has been very reliable in handling cremated remains that are packaged properly. The cremated remains can remain in the plastic urn or cardboard box in which you received them. If shipping just the bag, please double bag the original bag with a gallon-sized Ziploc and place it inside the USPS flat rate box with newspaper and/or bubble wrap in the corners of the box. Use the Priority Mail flat rate box if shipping at least 2 weeks prior to the cruise date. If shipping less than 2 weeks in advance, please use the US Postal Service’s Express Mail flat rate box to ensure the ashes arrive in time. Both USPS shipping services include tracking. Be sure to let us know when the ashes are on their way and the tracking number.
